Massage and exercise session tailored to the individual
This new session is ideal for people to help improve their posture and shape by releasing muscle tensions and learning better use of the body to lessen aches and pains.
It involves a postural assessment, a seated acupressure session and an exercise session both tailored to the
individual.
Aromatherapy Massage
Aromatherapy is a treatment designed to help or heal, by the correct use or application of essential plant oils. The oils have many healing properties and can affect the whole person on mental, emotional and physical levels. A massage with essential oils can help relieve many ailments including anxiety, insomnia, tiredness, depression and muscular aches and can help with stress.
On-site Massage
This is a 20 minute, clothed acupressure-based massage which leaves the client feeling revitalised and ready for anything. Designed to be given in the workplace, it addresses stress where and when it occurs and can greatly enhance efficiency at work.
Acupressure Massage
A full body massage which many active people find to be very beneficial in easing muscle tension and boosting energy levels.
Reiki Healing
Reiki works by allowing the recipient space to rejuvenate their own healing powers. A holistic session for mind, body and spirit, repeated sessions will boost the sense of wellbeing, ease depression, strengthen the immune system and help alleviate physical ailments.
Hot Stone Therapy
Another ancient healing system, stones will warm, nurture and balance you physically, mentally and spiritually. The therapy involves the application of water heated basalt stones of varying sizes to key points on the body, giving a deep massage and creating sensations of warmth and comfort. The energy emitted by the stone during a session affects the energy field and pathways of the body to balance and heal. A stone massage is a unique experience connecting with nature and the benefits are many from relaxation and detoxing to helping digestion and relieving pain.
Pilates
A system of exercise devised by Joe Pilates in the 1940s, Pilates is based on his concept of a balanced body and mind. The system addresses posture, body mechanics, correct breathing, spinal flexibility and core control. Exercises are based on his principles of breathing, concentration, control, centering precision and flow. Imbalances in the muscsles become less and aches and pains are reduced.
Pilates for the workplace
Long hours sitting at the computer causes aches, pains and stiffness but good posture can combat this. Workplace pilates can help by working with regular on-site acupressure to release tight muscles and prevent injury. One to one sessions focus on the individual and his or her specific problems.
Indian Head Massage
An ancient technique from the Indian Ayurvedic system of healing, Indian Head Massage helps alleviate stress, headaches and eyestrain and will leave you feeling very relaxed as well as increasing energy levels.
